Retrofit programme launched: new control for side-entry robots of any brand
Robots past ten years are renewed with a KEBA controller, servo drives, LM magazine and ES-Charge; the first project cut downtime by 35%.
Bor4 Machine's retrofit programme renews the control, drive, magazine and static charging systems of side-entry robots that have lost manufacturer support or spare-part supply, while keeping the frame. The first project was completed on a lid producer's 2015 robot: weekly downtime fell from 6 to 3.9 hours.
The programme is modular: controller and HMI only, or the full package. The on-site survey is free; implementation takes two weeks in the workshop or five days on site.
