Why we exist

We brought more than twenty years of IML experience together in one brand, to bring a fresh approach to in-mould labelling.

Side entry

One IML cycle, in six steps.

The mould opens, the robot enters from the side, the label seats: scroll to follow each step with its photo and timing.

  1. Pick labels

    Pick labels

Labels are picked from the magazine by vacuum; a separate cassette per cavity.

    0.4 s
  2. Electrostatic charging

    Electrostatic charging

The Simco-Ion generator charges the label so it stays in place in the mould.

    0.3 s
  3. Enter the mould

    Enter the mould

The servo main axis enters the mould gap from the side; 0.9 s intervention.

  4. Take parts

    Take parts

Parts are taken from the core side by vacuum grippers.

  5. Place labels

    Place labels

Labels are placed into the cavity side; the arm exits and the mould closes.

Case study

8-cavity 150 g yoghurt tub: cycle 3.1 → 2.6 s

The old top-entry robot on a 380 t machine was replaced with an SE-450; scrap fell from 1.8% to 0.4% and about 1,800 more tubs per hour are produced.

Why Bor4?

In numbers: intervention time, precision, open architecture, service proximity, retrofit and payback.

  • 0.8–0.9 s

    Speed

0.8–0.9 s mould intervention with the servo main axis, so the mould stays open for less time.

  • ±0.05 mm

    Precision

±0.05 mm repeatability; per-cavity vacuum monitoring and double-label check.

  • KEBA

    Open-architecture HMI

KEBA KeMotion: recipes, step-by-step teaching, OPC UA; no locked software.

  • 48 h

    Service nearby

Spare-part warehouse in İkitelli; on site within 48 hours in Türkiye, 24 on the Gold package.

  • −35%

    Retrofit

New control, magazine and static charging for side-entry robots of other brands; 35% less downtime in a sample retrofit case.

  • ROI

    Price / performance
