What is Euromap 67?
The standard signal interface between the injection machine and the robot; differences from Euromap 12 and the safety circuit.

Euromap 67 is the European standard defining the electrical interface between an injection moulding machine and a take-out robot: signals such as mould open, ejectors back, robot in mould area and cycle start enable are exchanged over a 50-pin connector. The robot's safe entry into and exit from the mould relies on these signals.
Euromap 12 is the older 32-pin version of the same function; some signals are missing and the safety circuit is single-channel. Bor4 robots ship with Euromap 67; a converter cable set is offered for Euromap 12 machines.
The newer Euromap 79 describes data exchange between the machine and the robot over OPC UA, such as sharing recipe and status information; transferring production data to MES is handled on the machine side by OPC UA standards such as Euromap 77. These interfaces do not replace Euromap 67: safety and motion enables are still handled by the signal interface.
