Camera-based label inspection: presence, position, print and code reading; automatic reject.
Every part is inspected as it leaves the line; a faulty label is separated before it reaches packing and per-cavity statistics feed maintenance planning.
With a top and a side camera, VQ-Vision checks label presence, ±0.3 mm position deviation, rotation, print defects and seam gap; it reads QR and DataMatrix codes for lot traceability. The decision takes 20 ms and a faulty part is separated by an air jet without stopping the line.
The system can be included in a new SE cell or retrofitted to existing lines; it runs on the conveyor independently of the robot and sends results to MES via OPC UA.
