SE-Twin Stack-Mould IML Robot

Overview

Stack moulds double the output at the same tonnage; but placing labels and taking parts on both parting lines at once is where standard robots reach their limit. The SE-Twin's vertical double-sided plate carries cores and grippers facing both surfaces; it completes 2×8 cavities in a single entry.

Two independent LM-8 magazines and two-channel Simco-Ion charging keep separate recipe parameters for each face. Mould opening and stroke synchronisation are handled in the KEBA controller through Euromap 67 signals.

Two-lane stacking at the outfeed is standard; the optional VQ-Vision checks the labels of both faces with two cameras.

Key Features

  • Double-sided vertical plateCores and grippers facing both parting lines; 2×8 cavities in one entry.
  • Servo main axis, 1.0 s interventionThe horizontal main axis enters the mould gap from the side; in a single entry it takes out the parts and places new labels in the cavities.
  • Two independent LM-8 magazinesA separate cassette per cavity; quick change, level sensor and double-label check.
  • Two-channel electrostatic chargingThe label holds to the cavity wall by static charge; no shifting or folding, vacuum is used only during transfer.
  • KEBA KeMotion control, 15" HMIOpen-architecture controller; recipe memory, step-by-step teaching and Euromap 67 synchronisation with the IMM.
  • Remote access and OPC UAHMI screen sharing and log analysis over VPN; OPC UA data points for MES/ERP.
  • Vacuum monitoringA vacuum sensor per cavity; a missing label or part is detected immediately and the cycle stops safely.
  • Product changeover in 30 minutesQuick-connect EOAT, cassette change and recipe recall bring the switch to a new product under half an hour.
  • CE and integrated safetySafety PLC, door interlocks and the Euromap 67 safety circuit in one cabinet; delivered with a CE declaration.
  • Integrated stacking and countingThe outfeed conveyor carries parts mouth-down, counts them and stacks to the packing quantity.

Frequently asked questions

It works with any machine that has a Euromap 67 interface. Tonnage range and mould daylight are checked at quotation stage; we offer a converter for Euromap 12.

Under 30 minutes if the quick-connect EOAT and cassette set are ready. The recipe is recalled from the HMI; axis positions load automatically.

Standard lead time is 10–12 weeks. Factory acceptance (FAT) is run with your own mould and labels at our test centre in İkitelli; on site, 3 days installation and 2 days training.

PP, PE and PET based labels of 50–80 µm; charging parameters for metallic and embossed labels are stored in the recipe.
