Overview
The LM-8 combines eight cassettes in a single frame, and two units run side by side for 16-cavity moulds. Each cassette has its own servo drive and level sensor; when a cassette runs out, the robot either stops the cycle or switches to the spare cassette according to the recipe rule, instead of leaving that cavity empty.
Guide adjustment is motorised: when a recipe is recalled, all eight cassettes adjust to the new label size in 20 seconds. An air-knife label separator is standard for high-speed cycles (under 2 s).
