Overview
In in-mould labelling, how well the label seats on the cavity wall is determined by static charging. Too little charge lets the label shift; too much creates air pockets and folds. The ES-Charge defines a separate voltage and duration for each EOAT face with a two-channel Chargemaster generator; the values are stored in the recipe.
The unit monitors charging-pin wear with a counter and reports replacement time on the HMI. A high-voltage profile for metallic and thick labels and a pulse profile for thin PP labels are standard.
