Pails and Handle Assembly
2–20 litre food and paint pails: 1–2 cavities, 8–15 s cycles, automatic in-line handle assembly.

In pail IML the label is large and wrap-around; on a 20 litre pail the 300 mm tall label must seat on the cavity wall without creasing. And at most plants the handle of the pail leaving the mould is still fitted by hand.
The SE-650 carries the large cores with its reinforced frame and 30 kg payload; the HA-Handle unit fits the handle in-line in 4 seconds. On 450–700 t machines with 1–2 cavity moulds, from 2 L to 20 L.
Challenges
- Seating a wrap-around label up to 300 mm without creasing
- Speed loss with heavy EOAT and wide mould daylight
- 2 operators per shift for handle fitting
- Metallic labels and static setting on paint pails
The Bor4 solution
- Two-channel ES-Charge static charging (Simco-Ion generator) and mechanically supported label pick-up
- SE-650: 2,000 mm stroke, 30 kg payload, double rack
- Operator-free handle fitting with HA-Handle, seating check
- High-voltage profile for metallic labels in the recipe
